Regular Trash Pick Up is Still On Today
Get your trash cans out if Monday is your regular trash day!
Did you put away your trash cans, thinking that because of Hurricane Sandy, regular trash pick up is going to be suspended?
Get your trash out now, because if Monday is your regular garbage pick up day, the one-armed trucks will be around to get your trash.
Officials warned that as soon as pick up is made, homeowners should immediately secure the trash cans in a safe place because of the hurricane force winds expected when Sandy makes landfall later Monday.

Really wish you posted this last might. Too Late now since the garbage men come at 6am. My can is filled to the rim and now I have to wait another week. Not good.

Sorry, Margm. I didn't learn about it until early this morning. I put out an alert so if folks were up, they could get the can to the curb.

Not smart on so many levels! Having those people out in this weather, and then having the empty cans out with this wind? Tell everybody to bring in all your patio furniture, but I guess empty garbage cans are ok.
