POLL: How Do You Feel About Dr. Crowe as a Principal?
Would you welcome him as a prinicipal to your child's school? Or would you say 'no way'?
One of the latest incidents in the Woodbridge school cheating scandal is the school board's announcement that they want to replace Dr. John Crowe as schools superintendent.
Dr. Crowe will leave his superintendent job December 1, but he's not leaving the district. He'll be installed as a principal of a Woodbridge elementary school.
What do you think? Would you welcome Dr. Crowe as your child's school principal? Or would you oppose him being in charge?
Take our poll and post a comment. What do you think about the issue?

If the board wanted to terminate him from his superintendent position over this cheating scandal, putting him in charge at one of the schools as principal is ridiculous! What kind of an example is that for the students? To become a teacher/administrator so that no matter what you do you won't really be held accountable?

He also admitted guilt by stepping.........Get rid of him. Let him feel the pain of ruining his life and family as he has done so with many other people.

Hey, if he's paid a Principal's salary and not a Superintendent's, let him do it. It ain't rocket science, is it?
On another note, I've always been curious as to why these academicians feel the need to be addressed with the honorific "Doctor". There are many people with postgraduate degrees in other disciplines who don't need that ego inflation.

This is how tenure works he is entitled to return to his position, why take that away? He was removed for errors by people under him not anything he did. These problem people are in legal trouble not Crowe. I did not vote for this board but I would not be in favor of cutting the knees off of this man.

He's responsible for all the schools. The more that Woodbridge has higher scores both in New Jersey and Nationally puts a feather in his cap. He knew what was going on. Don't be so gullible. He admitted guilt by stepping down and should NOT be an employee of any kind in Woodbridge.

Wow if Ben H's scores are correct then he really needs to be investigated more thoroughly. Those scores are ridiculously high.

What Woodbridge needs is a totally NEW Government. It needs to start at One Main St. as that's where everything is delegated.
