John Lennon, Zumba, and Cover Bands in Today's Five Things

  2. Registration is open for a Workshop at Arts Guild New Jersey. Diana Hsu Kung introduces students to the traditional Chinese style of painting with brush and ink.   4. The Ultimate Cover Band Search begins tonight at where every Wednesday through July 27 to be picked. The winning band gets a production contract and a year-long gig to play at Shannon Rose. For more info, call 973-300-9123.
  5. "Crime Story", an art exhibition featuring the work of 17 artists inspired by crimes of all kinds and , continues today through June 2 at Arts Guild NJ in Rahway. Exhibit hours are 1 to 4 pm, and admission is free. For more info, call 732-381-7511.
