It was fine weather for a parade Sunday, and a perfect day for the exhibition of the annual Woodbridge Christmas Parade.

Dozens of floats and tons of marchers drew spectators up and down the route from Woodbridge High School to Town Hall on Main Street.

The Woodbridge Animal Shelter, Girl Scout Troops, marchers from Colonia and Woodbridge High schools, as well as paraders from fire departments and other township organizations made a wonderful display to set the season off with a bang.

There were even parade participants in Revolutionary War and Civil War costume to add to the variety of the day.

In case you missed the fun, enjoy this gallery of holiday parade pictures, courtesy of New Jersey Photo Studio.

I had a great time at the township Christmas Parade eventhough it was quite clear from the signage that it should be renamed the Season's Greetings Parade or even the Happy Holiday's Parade. To be honest, really didnt see anything referring to the word Christmas. Just look at the pictures. Also, anyone else disturbed by the amount of vacant stores on Main street.
