- Holiday story time is happening at Barnes & Noble today. Looking for fun and educational activities for your children? Take them at 11 am for a mid-morning filled with great activities. The event takes place upstairs in the Children's Department. Staff members will read books, sing songs and participate in activities. For more info, call 732-548-4179.
- Fun stuff for kids. The Evergreen Youth Center is open to all local middle school students living in Woodbridge Township. The drop-in center is free and offers children activities such as a Wii, Xbox 360, PS3, movies, a pool table and ping pong among many other activities available at the Inman Avenue facility. The center is open from 3 pm to 6 pm on school days. The center is closed when the schools are also closed on any given day. For more info, call 732-738-6261.
- Don't miss a great train exhibit. The Barron Arts Center is holding its phenomenal holiday model train exhibition through Dec. 29. Hours are weekdays from 11 am to 4 pm and weekends from 2 pm to 4 pm. Admission is free, but donations are welcome. For more info, call 732-634-0413.
- Gather for Christmas dinner. Attend a free Christmas Friendship Dinner December 25 from 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm at St. Anthony of Padua Church in Port Reading. Reservations are required. For more info, call 732-634-1419.
