FEMA is Offering Advice at Lowe's & Home Depot
Specialists from the Federal Emergency Management Agency are in town and they want to give free advice to Hurricane Sandy victims.
They're baaaaack.
The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), which had set up shop in the Woodbridge Health Center after Hurricane Sandy until just recently, is back in town to offer advice for homeowners.
They will be at Lowe's and Home Depot on Route 9 South in Woodbridge from now through Saturday, January 19, to give free advice on repairing and rebuilding homes damaged by the October storm.
In addition to the advice, they'll be giving away publications on such topics as ridding a home of mold and mildew; understanding flood- and wind-resistant building mehtods; and the benefits of flood insurance.
Look for them at the stores from 8 am to 6 pm.

While you're there, look for these pamphlets: "Raise Your Home 14 Feet with No Credit and No Money Down", and also "Rebuild To Standard with No Tax Increase". They may have to be written yet, but you can certainly ask.
