Colonia Celebrates Sunday with a Pride Parade
Everyone in the Colonia section will be there!
If you're proud to be a resident of Colonia, Sunday, October 2, is your day.
That's when the section of Woodbridge Township will strut its stuff in the Colonia Pride Parade.
The parade is the brainchild of George Vassiliades, a longtime Colonia citizen who thought it was time to show how great it is to live in that part of town.
The celebration of all things Colonia starts at approximately 1 pm at Oak Ridge Heights School #21 on Inman Ave and continues down Delaware Ave. where it ends at Colonia Middle School. There, there will be food and drink, and a party for Colonia residents.
To cap the event, the Miss Colonia Pageant will be held at the Evergreen Center, and a scholarship will be awarded as well.
The celebrants hope to see you there!
