A Tweet Can Help Woodbridge Homeowners Devastated by Hurricane Sandy

Patch is donating $1 for every #PatchRebuilds tweet, for areas suffering from Sandy, and that includes Woodbridge - so start tweeting!

Did you know that Patch was at the Jersey Shore right after Superstorm Sandy

Now Patch is expanding its help. Woodbridge and area residents who tweet a simple hashtag can help homeowners here, where we all live, and some of whom were devastated by the hurricane.

For every Twitter entry that includes the #PatchRebuilds hashtag, Patch will donate $1 to AmeriCares Superstorm Sandy Relief Efforts, up to $125,000. Your gift will help AmeriCares respond to Superstorm Sandy with medical and humanitarian aid, grants, and programs to help support survivors across the country.

Go to this link, then type "Woodbridge" in the space, "My Heart Belongs To....", and tweet it.

For that simple action, $1 will be donated to AmeriCares, and Woodbridge reaps part of the benefit.

Patch is reporting on and from towns in all of the affected areas, including Long Island, New Jersey, Connecticut, and New York. So please share this #PatchRebuilds campaign with your family and friends across the country.

Follow Woodbridge Patch on FacebookTwitter and sign up for the daily newsletter.
